Matthew Berlet, M.D.
Dr. Berlet is an American Board of Radiology Certified Diagnostic Radiologist with two additional board certifications with subspecialty expertise in Neuroradiology and Vascular & Interventional Radiology. Dr. Berlet completed his undergraduate Bachelor of Science degree at Bucknell University in 1982 with a Cum Laude honors. Dr. Berlet attended The University of Medicine and Dentistry in New Jersey where he attained his Medical Degree in 1986.
Dr. Berlet completed his undergraduate Internal Medicine Internship at Hackensack Medical Center in 1987 in New Jersey, followed by completing his Diagnostic Radiology Residency Program at the New England Deaconess Hospital - Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in 1991, where he was also Chief Resident from 1990 to 1991. Dr. Berlet's Neuroradiology Fellowship Program was completed in 1993 at Massachusetts General Hospital.
In 1993, Dr. Berlet relocated to Tampa, Florida where he joined SDI Radiology. Dr. Berlet is a member of several professional societies including the American Board of Radiology, American Society of Neuroradiology, American College of Radiology, American Roentgen Ray Society, Florida Radiological Society, Florida West Coast Radiological Society, Hillsborough County Medical Association, Radiological Society of North America, Society of Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiology, and the Society of Interventional Radiology. Dr. Berlet is also St. Joseph’s Hospital’s Co-Director of the Neuroscience Center and Medical Director of the Interventional Radiology Department.
