David Babin, M.D.
Dr. David Babin is an American Board of Radiology Certified Diagnostic Radiologist as well as certified with the American Board of Nuclear Medicine. Dr. Babin attended Lamar University, in Texas, where he completed his undergraduate Bachelor in Science degree in Biology in 1989. In 1993, he went on to earn his Medical Degree from The University of Texas – Southwestern Medical School.
Dr. Babin’s postgraduate Diagnostic Radiology Residency training was completed at The University of New Mexico in 1997. In 1998, Dr. Babin went on to complete his Fellowship Program in Nuclear Medicine at Northwestern University in Chicago, Illinois.
After completing his training, Dr. Babin relocated to Tampa, Florida where he joined SDI Radiology in 1998, and is the Medical Director of the Nuclear Medicine Department at St. Joseph’s Hosptal. Dr. Babin is a member of several professional societies including American Board of Radiology, American Board of Nuclear Medicine, American College of Radiology, American Roentgen Ray Society, American Medical Association, Florida Radiological Society, Radiologic Society of North America and Society of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging.
